Vision and Purpose of
Life Aid International
Life Aid International assists in the development of third world countries in the areas of education, health, micro-enterprise and community development and renewal. The association will also assist in relief efforts, where practicable.
Ron and Annette Henry founded New Life International as South Pacific Ministries in 1989. The purpose of the organisation was to bring relief aid and assistance to, originally, the Pacific Islands.
As the work grew it necessitated a name change and became Asia Pacific Ministries in 1997.
From 1997 Asia Pacific Ministries became increasingly involved in aid projects. Because of this move towards community development and with all the Ministry’s work being in this area the Ministry was renamed New Life International.
This change assisted us to reflect what our vision and purpose was - assisting people and communities to develop enhanced living and choices through aid projects.
Ron and Annette’s establishment of New Life International led to the provision of much needed financial and human resource support coming from Queensland and New South Wales.
Co-Aid... our sponsoring organisation is a consortium of faith based agencies in international relief and development working with staff and volunteers in over 100 countries. |
