Our organisation is unique in that we work in areas of little activity by other aid/development organisations and where there is little opportunity for those communities to advance without the assistance of organisations such as our own.

We partner with in-country organisations to ensure projects have the best chance to be sustainable and managed by the local people.

We have a team of qualified, dedicated and skilled people who advise, plan, direct and manage the organisation and its projects all of whom volunteer their time to Life Aid International’s operation and projects.

Board members visit project sites to inspect project progress on at least an annual basis. This enables us to maintain high levels of accountability and a hands on approach with the people groups who we assist.

We believe that sustainable communities are developed through...

  • increased educational availability for children,
  • provision of effective medical aid,
  • enhanced opportunity for micro-enterprise and skill development through mentorship,
  • training for local communities.

  • building schools and training local teachers,
  • building and equipping medical clinics,
  • restoring micro-businesses in disaster effected regions.
